This automotive part is a complete waste of time and money. Based on my observations, it is poorly made and prone to failure. The pros are that it is cheap, but the cons far outweigh any potential benefit. The last thing you want is to be stranded on the side of the road with a faulty alternator, and this product is not reliable enough to trust in heavy duty vehicles. Look elsewhere for a higher quality, more dependable option.
