As you can see in the picture, the right side of the steering wheel is occupied by the rotary gear selector. I only needed a roll of tape to completely cover the ends of the Origin8 Comp Light Bar - which is the short version with the ski curve - as well as the handlebars. Update (correction): So the plastic caps that come with the tape are really strong enough to secure the tape in the end of the handlebar. cheap feeling. They aren't strong enough to hold the tape in the handlebar so I used them to plug the end of the flat bar that doesn't have tape in it.
