Doesn't slip when wet, good padding

I've been cycling for over 10 years, both recreationally and as an A/cc2/rr3 rider. Can't speak to durability yet, but I really like the texture for it's slip resistance when riding in hot and humid conditions (I don't wear gloves). Feels high quality and looks good. As always, the item comes with far less tape than I would like; Find some good tape or vinyl tape to secure the ends instead of the little strips of tape that each masking tape comes with in their box. I also use it to hold endโ€ฆ

  • Easy to use

  • New competition is here

Perfect for my non bike application

I bought this tape to wrap around the cracked and rusty handle of my cart or handcart. It worked great. Glue seems to be the most appropriate. I will update after using the cart a few times to see how it holds up. I ended up with duct tape as two finishing tapes weren't enough for the job, but then it's not handlebars. I'm very pleased and have a whole cassette left so I'm looking for other packaging. 5 Stars. Update: 06/2021: Work in progress to cover chipped and rusty hand truck handle. Shows

I wanted a purple cork strap and it was the best value for money.

I love this colored ribbon, it's exactly what I wanted and at the best price. Cork rod straps are the most comfortable option for me, and other brands had fewer color options, less padding, were the wrong purple, or cost twice as much. If you know the basics of wrapping duct tape around your steering wheel, you'll be fine not watching the video. This tape isn't a perfect five as the included bar end caps are rubbish. I used my finishing tape as a finish. The included finishing tape is also junk

Feels good, wraps easily

It's "made of real cork" but looks like bits of cork mixed with thick foam. Regardless, it's what I expected and it's a decent volume. Opens well. You can stretch it well to shape the handlebar flex and levers without tearing the tape. It's much easier to use than a real cork. I used extra double sided tape on the pole pieces to keep them securely in place as all the tape will try to peel off on you. I couldn't do a traditional figure eight around the arms due to the thickness of the band, so I

Only 1 roll needed, soft & grippy, instructions could be better.

As you can see in the picture, the right side of the steering wheel is occupied by the rotary gear selector. I only needed a roll of tape to completely cover the ends of the Origin8 Comp Light Bar - which is the short version with the ski curve - as well as the handlebars. This was the first time I've used any type of bar tape so they didn't turn out pretty but they do the job. As I quickly sprinted around my area, I noticed that the tape was comparatively softer than the original hybridโ€ฆ

  • There are disadvantages

WAY low quality tape; bad brand?

As a fairly enthusiastic racing cyclist for over 30 years, I have taped the handlebars hundreds of times. During that time I have used many brands and styles of bar tape. I've never seen such bad quality. First, it was almost impossible to remove the tape backing without taking pieces of the tape with you. With great care, I was able to remove it without tearing the tape in half. However, the strength and resilience of each roll was compromised by the many "holes" (and one small hole) left byโ€ฆ

  • Delivery was very fast

  • Not everything fits
