This product works well, but unfortunately it is a death machine. The holes are so big and don't have any kind of protective cover. When the product is removed, my clown loaches swim in and rest in it like it's a jungle gym and bed and breakfast. I knew from this behavior that I had to take extra care to always check the inside thoroughly before turning it on to avoid disaster. Well, disaster was waiting in the wings. She was turned on! The fish swam straight at him while he was on board and indeed he lost his whole face and was killed instantly. 😔 😢Didn't think anyone would swim inside while it's on, but be careful. Adding them to your aquarium is like adding a guillotine. 0/10 I do not recommend. It works really well so if you need a very powerful wave generator it's ok but only if you can find a way to make your own tight fitting caps as this product is not safe to use.
