BlueRigger Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable *Overview*

I've purchased many optical cables over the years, from the $40 Monster cable in the mid '90s to the later Monoprice cables I plan to use bought about six years ago. return. I go to Monoprice for decent quality at a great price, but at the current price of $6 for this BlueRigger optical cable, this cable works just as well. Aesthetically this is a nice cable. The material of the cable is strong, and even wrapping the cable there was no risk that the internal optical cable would break (obviously it wasn't designed to be bent in half). In terms of performance, they behave like any other optical cable. As a side note, I would have preferred to have dust caps attached to it. They come with detachable plastic connectors, but there's no way to attach them to the cable to have them handy if you want to unplug them. The distinctive oval logo on the ends of the cable provides extra grip, but unless you can see behind your gear it's hard to tell which end it is as the logo is on both the top and bottom. It would be better if there was only one logo to make it easier to connect without completely unplugging the device. I am very satisfied with the cable from all sides. The price was right, the quality is great, and it works as well as any other optical cable I've had. BlueRigger Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable (6ft)
