Review on ๐Ÿšš Nilight 60002F-B: Super Bright 6.5Inch Flood Led Off Road Lights - 2PCS 36w for Trucks, Boats | High-Performance Driving & Work Lights with 2-Year Warranty by Kenneth Cotton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They are very light and easy to install. My only reason for 4 stars instead of .

One month update: Short version: Good news: They have been abused but they still work and appear strong enough to last the distance. The bad news: they are absolutely, definitely NOT waterproof. Long version: I've had them on my rear bumper for a month as an auxiliary reversing light. They saw several miles and some difficult trails. I poured a lot of mud on them, splashed a lot of puddles/streams and subjected them to a few bumps while driving out of deep holes and ripping off some rocks. times, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. Metal bends and breaks, so if the bracket wasn't kinked it might have snapped or the bracket screw could have sheared off and I could unknowingly drag the lantern across the sidewalk back into the house. In this respect, my initial dissatisfaction with the powder coating that flaked off during installation is hardly a cause for concern. The lantern was dipped into the muddy water several times on steep descents, but for no more than a few seconds. They also got splashed a lot while crossing the water. The water I see in the lantern is clear and there is no dirt residue inside that you see when muddy water dries up. This leads me to think that the water that got in is actually from the rain, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's worth dropping a star because Nilight said they're waterproof, and they're nowhere near waterproof. I'll update later when the lens starts yellowing like others have said. First impression: Really impressive lights for the price. They are very light and easy to install. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the powder coating completely scraped off the mounting base when installed in the brackets. Still deserves 4 stars for the value for money. I will update this review as I see how they hold up over time. I would be very interested to know if they are waterproof.
