I wouldn't buy it if it was retrofittable.

It's not deep and wide enough for a small bag with a water bottle. Not what you see in the ad. If the places remain the same, your bag will not fall out. It would be better if the open side of the bag was higher. When a seat is pushed back, the bag holder gets in the way more.
