Review on OSOYOO Printer Controller Stepper Heatsink by Aquarium Lanter

Replaced my fancy PrintrBot with a plain metal PrintrBot. Need some know-how in electronics to connect to printer as printer connections are not directly compatible, Z-Probe in particular. Make sure you are using the correct version of Marlin and select the correct LCD interface in the firmware. I was using older firmware and spent 2 days debugging why the LCD wasn't working and ended up ordering another 4 line LCD controller. If you plan to always use with LCD, consider adding an extra 5V power supply to the device using the Vcc pin, as the built-in linear regulator (Mega) has to dissipate a lot of heat when powered with 12V and doesn't itself have any failures from - for that, but I added an external switch-mode buck regulator for less than a buck from a popular bidding site. Depending on your heated bed you may need to add a fan to cool the MOSFET as my bed heats up to around 85C. I would recommend replacing it with a better one just in case.
