This charge regulator appears to work well although I am not impressed with its low light performance compared to the Morningstar regulators I have used. The big problem is that the voltage registered by the charge controller and displayed on the MT50 differs by about 0.5V near the boost voltage. So I had to set the boost voltage to a higher value than I want the batteries to actually achieve to compensate for the falsely high controller readings. This is a crappy solution and I shouldn't have done it. There also doesn't seem to be any calibration and the discrepancy isn't always 0.5V, it's smaller at lower voltages. The nice thing is that the controller has a temperature cut-off to protect lithium batteries from charging at low temperatures. The default value is 0 degrees Celsius and can be changed by the user. But I haven't found a way to change it in any of the options menus and trying to get help from Epever is hopeless.
