I like it! 🌴😁👍 best in solar and wind power

Controller works great, easy to program and understand settings. This is a 40 amp controller but I've seen it peak at 45 amps with no issues. Connected to up to 3 x 160w polypanels in hawaii, 2kWh/day output, very happy with this unit. 🌴😁👍

Pros
  • Solar and wind power
Cons
  • Problems

I love this controller. Very important.

I love this controller! Before buying, I did a lot of research and looked at many recommendations on YouTube. I was impressed with the company and how dedicated they are to their products. The instruction manual is well done. Easy installation. Easy synchronization with the easy-to-use remote control panel. Excellent price. I think the blue brand that starts with a V is a rip off as it offers everything including connectivity to a smartphone or laptop at a much lower price.

Pros
  • Generators and portable power supplies
Cons
  • Almost never

Voltage readings are inaccurate

This charge regulator appears to work well although I am not impressed with its low light performance compared to the Morningstar regulators I have used. The big problem is that the voltage registered by the charge controller and displayed on the MT50 differs by about 0.5V near the boost voltage. So I had to set the boost voltage to a higher value than I want the batteries to actually achieve to compensate for the falsely high controller readings. This is a crappy solution and I shouldn't have…

Pros
  • Energy Regulator
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product
