Review on Drawstring Threader Flexible Replacement HOYOLS by Nicole Mcleod

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It took a little fiddling, but it turned out to be better than anything else

I have kids who drawstrings into LOTS of clothing items - shorts, swim trunks, sweatshirts, sweatpants. I discovered the power of the bodkin, also known as the threading tool. I have several of these, both metal and plastic. I enjoyed altering sweatshirts and sweatpants. However, none of my tools worked with a pair of metal grommets (see photo). I decided to try this instrument style. It took some maneuvering and I hope I didn't damage the tool (I had to bend it a bit and now the plastic is lighter where I had to bend it). Barely got through the hole. I had to untie the knots on the laces (using the tines of a metal fork helps a lot!). After removing the knots, all I had to do was thread the end of the lace (as the end of the lace) through one of the loops on the tool and thread like that. It worked, took about ten minutes, but got the desired results. This tool is the only one I've found that goes through the jack. While I prefer metal grommets, for anything that has a grommet, this is what you need! First you have to untie all the knots at the top, but at least I managed to salvage the trunks. Recommend!

Pros
  • INTIMATE SERVICE - Pack of 2 Pointed Needle Threaders. It is the most practical household tool that can also be used at home. It can be used as a gift for your mother, grandmother, etc. on Mother's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and other holidays to help them finish the lace more easily.
