I have my own test that I do with all my range finders, a drop test and then a range test. Place one range finder against the other at a known distance. But this little range finder is great for when you set it up and start shooting after it's light out in the woods. Brought it to Georgia for turkey season and it worked really well. Small enough for a fanny pack or daypack but has the features of the larger ones for less than $100.
