I couldn't get through the first turn from the inside before it couldn't go any further. I used the in and out motion with a little effort as directed to get him moving on. One of the rods was bent in the connector and the metal part of the rod was separating from the plastic part of the rod. I had to call Master to clean the air duct. I saw that he had poles twice as long as these, and then it dawned on me. Longer tines allow the sweeper to maneuver through long, curved channels. These shorter rods don't allow this as the shorter rods have too many metal connection points to handle turns. The drain cleaning cost me $250. I was charged more because the brush got stuck. He used the same type of cleaner, but he had longer sticks. Do not buy this product, it is not worth it
