I used this on a wooden interior door after we changed our new house floors from carpet to wood, leaving a gap under the door. I read the previous reviews that a lot of people had issues with adhesion, but for the price I decided to flip the coin. I cleaned the bottom of the door with alcohol to ensure a clean surface to adhere. I measured the bottom of the door, then the strip and cut it with a pair of strong scissors (think kitchen type shears). I didn’t remove all the backing at once but removed it as I applied the strip. It hasn’t fallen off and the door is open and closed, a lot. I also made sure the strip slightly scrapes the ground, or else what’s the point? There is no sign that it will fall off. Great product for us.
