Pretty cool little stand - I'm not a racer but rode often and for long periods and didn't need a stand on my frame (Scott's pretty good bike) but I got tired of putting the bike on the ground or trying to lean on it it awkward against something, but it will fall. This is a great little attachment - a small piece that fits between the quick disconnect on the rear hub has a small tab. Floor lamp 2pcs. a metal tube with an elastic band that holds them together and simply slides into the tongue. The tubes fold up and snap into an ultra-lightweight plastic holder that fits your water bottle's mounting screws, so it's not a weight issue at all and it's super useful! It comes in a pretty fancy aluminum case - don't know what to do with it once it's installed. I gave it to my children.
