Dyson quality product. The new hose is stiff and strong. Easy installation when you do this: 1) Disconnect the hose from the base of the motor using a screwdriver as a tool. 2) remove the brushroll using a Dyson belt replacement tool (easy), 3) remove the brush cover assembly from the motor base by gently prying it out of the hinge bushings at each end, 4) pry the old hose off the brushroll base with a screwdriver , 6 ) gently heat the spiral end of the new hose with a hair dryer until the plastic is soft and slightly stretched, 7) gently but tightly wrap the new hose onto the inlet of the brushroll base over the notches of the hose retainer until the end of the wire is in the "stop” zone, 8) push the retainer end of the hose onto the motor base inlet, 9) reinsert the brushroll base into the motor base sockets by pressing with your palm or another wide tool , 10) Reset the brushroll using the Dyson Belt Change Tool. good to go Vacuum.
