I don't like promoting a clothing brand so the starter label near the collar puts me off. It can be covered by buttoning the full length jacket. Otherwise, this is a great basic down jacket. Nylon shell and lining with polyester fill (see label). The zippers are smooth. Zippered hand pockets and external chest pocket. Three matching open inner pockets. There is also a hanging loop inside. Sizing seems true to size but our 6 year old grandson has yet to grow to a large size. The collar is insulated but not bulky (no hood) and the main zip goes all the way to the top. Your child will likely want other warm layers underneath this coat when it gets really cold outside. This is normal in moderate temperatures (perhaps slightly below freezing). (black, large)
