Very cute but not airtight

I really like these storage boxes. The sizes are very good. From big to small, they're great for our leftovers. I've used them to make pickles in the fridge (cucumbers, kale, etc.) and they've been fine except for the fact that they leak. DEFINITELY not airtight, but suitable for my purposes. I used red cabbage this time and I'm pretty sure the pretty bamboo lids got dirty. It makes sense that they did. I wish I had thought about this earlier. There are great looking plates, the glass is quite thick and they serve well as containers. in the dishwasher.
