Review on Kingston DataTraveler 64GB 100 G3 USB 3.0 (DT100G3/64GB) - Black by Joe Fulce

I've tried several times and it takes about 1.5 hours to write about 4.5GB of files to this drive. The average transfer speed is around 2 Mb/s. Sometimes much less, more like 50 kbps. abominable. Tried on different computers with different file types, but always excruciatingly, excruciatingly slow. I think I can type faster than this record can transfer a file. After about 13 months of indiscriminate use, it suddenly went into read-only mode and no amount of registry changes and third-party apps could clean it up. It still contains files but won't let me copy more files or delete the ones on it, making it useless to me. I'll smash it with a hammer and throw it away.
