Great for head movement and injured partners

I originally got the idea to order these because we sometimes use pool noodles at my gym, mainly because the extra reach allows us to work with head movement and no kickbacks in the breaking areas what is one of the problems you will encounter with standard glove work. Being about 5'6" tall and usually working with people taller than me, I have to cover a long distance when my partner is under my hook and their backcross usually packs in since I'm so close to them This does not apply to this 22" Heavy Duty Pool Noodle. The fact is that regular pool noodles, although very cheap, are also very fragile. The gym noodles are older than some of our schoolchildren and need to be split at the ends or held together with tape. These noodles are much stronger and specially created. Sanabul claims they are made out of the same foam as their gauntlets and I would believe it. But my sanabul gauntlets broke rather than rolled into a compressed tube. I almost thought they were too hard as I was planning on having them work out for my friend whose left hand is so damaged that even a light tap on the pad would make him wince in pain. When he hit those noodles, he felt nothing. Hard, correct holding technique (and the attacker gets a little lighter with power) ensures that injuries do not worsen. They are also great for resting my shoulders.
