Is twelve inches enough?
The cable measures exactly 12 inches from the bottom of the female end to the tip of the male end, WITHOUT the pins. So it's not a foot-long Subway item. I'm sure 12" will work for you! Allow for some bending on both ends and be aware it won't make an absolute 90 degree turn. After reading the reviews here I went played it safe and bought a 24" power cord from the same manufacturer. I'm glad I did! For under $5 I'm keeping it in case I find a use for it somewhere someday and don't want to waste anyone's money on a product that lives up to the hype.
