Second one I've bought for the car and I suspect it's still a little difficult to fit on new cars with rounded bumper edges to attach. My vehicle flexes slightly from side to side, thinning about an eighth to a quarter of an inch on the sides. If I'm very careful with my application, I can get it to work by just cropping the corners of the outside edges slightly so it doesn't stick out and fold over where it will later rise and look like junk. For the price, it gets the job done, and its low profile is so low that no one notices it's a cheap aftermarket item.
