Review on ☕ Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe in Black (Model 46895) by Brandi Williams

Good old fashioned coffee, tea and espresso maker

I spent a week looking for coffee makers before settling on this one. Before that we exclusively used Keurig makers, but I know the quality of Keurig has really gone down since our first pair of makers. When our last Keurig broke, I decided to go back to the "plain old" coffee maker and buy a separate thermos to store anything we don't drink right away. This turned out to be a great idea. The reason I haven't bought a coffee maker that brews in a carafe is because in my experience with carafes they tend to leak when brewing. Keep in mind that it took about a dozen cups of coffee to brew with the Hamilton Beach coffeemaker before the plastic taste went away (same goes for Keurigs), but after the coffeemaker was hacked, we re-learned how to make the right one The amount of ground coffee you fill in depends on the water content. together, coffee just so, so good. It's hot in here and I don't miss the "dirt" that's ever been on the bottom of a mug from our producer Keurig (we've always used our own soil). We don't need a timer or clock - I see a lot of customers complaining about this feature so I don't know about it - but I wanted the unit to use a cone filter and spray over the entire area, this one does it and I love it also the brew strength option - all at an amazing price. Addendum: Regarding the brewing cup size, the water line starts at 6 cups, but if you fill just below this line, you get the equivalent of about 2 large cups, for your information.
