This was the perfect key cylinder replacement for my 94 F150. The original was chrome but I didn't think it looked great to begin with (it was the only shiny thing in the whole cockpit except for the dome) so the black color looks good. I was able to replace the new cylinder with the original cylinder's toggle switches with the original keys after watching a YouTube video. Took about 30 minutes paying attention to small details. It's worth not having to worry about separate doors and ignition keys and keep the originality! It appears to be a quality item, so far there have been no problems installing or using it.
