I guess there are different color groups because not all Christmas nails are red and green! The decals are small plastic vinyl decals and are easy to stretch and warp if you don't clean them thoroughly - same goes for all decals! I like to fold the paper as much as possible to see if the sticker will rise naturally. If not, I GENTLELY scrape with my fingernail until the piece is high enough for the tweezers to slide through. If you scratch too hard or use something too big it will either stretch the decal on that part and make it look warped and likely not lay flat. Or it just expands there and wraps around on itself and you have to throw away the whole sticker. This applies to every nail sticker - this is not a defect, just a suggestion! These are stickers, so stick them quick! Because they are plastic, the background color shows through the white sticker (see my photo of a polar bear on an empty red nail). I can see the red underneath and the sparkle underneath shines through the bear, but that's okay. But if you want the white to pop, you need to draw a white shape that is the same shape as your sticker. You CAN take it off once you've glued it on, but because of the stretch/warp issue I discussed earlier, I wouldn't do that. And for the same reason I would also use a thicker builder gel sealer over it because there's bound to be a little wrinkled spot where you took it, but I have a little OCD. Stickers glow after being in. UV. And they glow for quite a long time and quite easily after exposure to direct sunlight.
