So I run a professional parts store and we try all kinds of gear. Some are great, some are just fur. some are just bad. They're probably best for the do-it-yourselfer. They do a pretty good job cleaning the wheel drum. However, after prolonged use, the rubber protecting the center metal bar will wear away, exposing the metal, creating a real possibility of scratching the wheel. We also found that the grips fall off over time. We actually tested them in our shop. They are best suited for detailing houses. They will serve you for a sufficient time if you use them at home.
