My grandson from kindergarten prefers not to bother buttoning and buttoning regular jeans. Who blames him! These jeans are perfect! They are actually regular jeans (with a bit of stretch) but with a wide elastic knit band at the top so they can be easily pulled up and down. In addition, they have internal buttoned pull tabs to further adjust the waist if needed. Otherwise the trousers are true to size. Great jeans.
