Although I've never used a RAM mount before, this was the easiest way to easily add another sonar to my pontoon. Mounted to the side of one of my front storage boxes with stainless steel bolts and nylon nuts inside with a base plate. To date, this is the easiest and most convenient mount to make your own. Whether it's racing on the road or on the water, it won't move unless I want it to. Makes setting very easy and takes 2 seconds. Will definitely use again if needed.
