Cammenga Compasses are good things. I'm a cartographer and compass at heart, and that's best of all. I've used flat map compasses, engineering compasses, cheap stuff, expensive stuff (why are Suunto compasses so expensive?). Cammenga is my compass. If you use GPS or an online mapping system to get into unfamiliar territory, you're just as lost When did you start your journey, when do you return home from your destination?) My only complaint is that I received the tritium version, not the phosphorescent version. Since I needed it right now, I just held it tight.
