When they're done coloring you can dry the pages with a paper towel and set them aside with the sides open and they'll be ready to go again in about 5 minutes, which is great for keeping active kids in line! One of the books does worse than the other, mainly because my son really overdid it with water and if it gets on the edge of the box it will spread out like any paper material.
