I bought it for 98 gsxr 750. It didn't fit very well "as is" - I had to cut/saw/reshape the part holding it. Finally; I cut off the curved part of the tongue and used a small push pin to attach it. I had to sand it from the inside to make it smoother. I haven't been able to set it to "lock" for a long time. It either held too tight upon release causing the throttle to drag, or it didn't lock up at all. I've found an ideal spot that keeps it running so I can rest on the freeway. Of course it wasn't sold for my bike, but with a little tweaking it does the job. For the bike it was designed for I believe it will work well.
