guys this ladder is awesome. I'm not sure why the other reviewers rated it so poorly. This thing is beyond solid (I caught my 2 year old climbing and jumping). Trust me, if my son hasn't broken it yet, he won't. It's also not difficult to assemble. That connects our living room. I'd like a whitewashed version to match our colors and I was afraid the dark brown stain would drown out the texture of the wood, but that doesn't hurt at all. It looks amazing.
