Not the worst, not the best and certainly not the best instructions and details.

The tree itself isn't the worst, but it has to be level. you tremble; one side from the other, so it's not stable. I don't see the point of indenting the top because honestly it doesn't work. The "gears" are visible because part of the "ladder" is tilted to the side. The instructions are incomprehensible. It literally has only 2 steps and the screws and gears have not been marked.

Not worth the price.

The wood quality is poor. looks like cardboard. It won't be long after constantly adding/removing blankets. But if it's just for decoration and no one ever touches it, then that's fine. The burned-in label mark and the screws are so visible from the outside (see picture) that it sucks. Not pleasing to the eye at all. In general, does not correspond to the price. I could get better quality from TJ Maxx, but I've already put it together. let's see how long it lasts. Maybe it surprises me.

This is exactly the ladder you are looking for

Folks, these stairs are awesome. I'm not sure why the other reviewers rated it so poorly. This thing is beyond solid (I caught my 2 year old climbing and jumping). Trust me, if my son hasn't broken it yet, he won't. It's also not difficult to assemble. That connects our living room. I'd like a whitewashed version to match our colors and I was afraid the dark brown stain would drown out the texture of the wood, but that doesn't hurt at all. It looks amazing.
