The monitor is not bad for its price. But the colors are not super bright, which is normal. The description says 75Hz but the information on the monitor says 60Hz. It has a halo. But overall it's a decent monitor. Edit: OK, it runs at 75Hz, but you need to go into your computer settings. There should be instructions on how to do this for non-technical people. Not in your manual. Colors, balance, lighting must be adjusted on the monitor in the settings. You'll also need to adjust the settings on your computer to get more vivid colors from your graphics card.
