Works well. (Kind of)

I bought these Air Lifts for my 2013 Dodge Ram 3500 Cab Chassis. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. I bought an upgraded bag of braided metal tubing that comes with threaded caps to screw onto the valve that screws onto the top of the airbags and into the chopper valve. After installation I sprayed soapy water on all valve/piping areas with no evidence of air leaks. The first time we towed our RV (2 1/2 hour drive to the campground) and with 50 pounds of air in the airbags, upon arrival at the campground I noticed that the driver's side airbag was deflated and the passenger side had 20 pounds of air. air bag. The same thing happened on the way home. So not knowing where the air was leaking from, I applied Dawn Direct Dishwashing Liquid directly to the valve areas (not mixed with water) and sure enough it showed leaks. So I taped the pipe thread tape used for gas lines to the threads of the valves and chopper valves and now it's holding the air steady. I pumped in 20 pounds of air at 4:00 p.m. and the next day at 9:00 a.m. it was still holding 20 pounds of air. So for improvement. Airbags work great for inflation and towing, but I STRONGLY recommend putting thread tape on all valve areas to ensure there are no air leaks. You probably won't find leaks with regular soapy water, but you should find leaks with regular Dawn dish soap.
