Review on 🌡️ PerfectPrime TM0300: Accurate Non-contact Infrared Thermometer Laser Pointer Gun -58~1112°F by Marco Gavi

I would have liked this thermometer, but there is a fatal flaw with the hidden calibration menu - you can accidentally get into the calibration menu by holding the trigger and pressing the two buttons on the left simultaneously. DO NOT TRY THIS! Once you get into the calibration menu, your thermometer is effectively locked as you have no instructions or tools to complete the calibration process. It is not possible to abort, abort or reset to factory calibration. The thermometer will be permanently miscalibrated unless you return it to the factory. A few other issues with the manual: 1) there is no mention of a screw that secures the battery cover (that wasn't a problem for me); 2) The instruction to turn on/off the backlight and the instruction to turn on/off the laser pointer are exactly the same and does not work for the backlight, so the backlight cannot be turned off. This is also why I accidentally got into the calibration menu when trying to multi/long/short press different keys to turn off the backlight. which means - it should have been deactivated before leaving the factory! since this is not a user function and is dangerous), it seemed to work fine.
