Review on Green Silicone Roll-Up Pastry Mat with Measurements by Joseph Joseph by Shelley Highter

What a great baking mat! Both sides are made of the same smooth matte silicone. It lies absolutely flat and doesn't slip (the tabletop has to be creakingly clean). Mine didn't smell at all. It closes easily with a little stretch at the opening to push the button through. I wash it in a large flat bowl, which is a lot easier than over the sink (I also use silicone bags and elastic lids and collect them for washing). To dry, a few vigorous shakes will discard most of the water. I used stainless steel cookie cutters and a silicone spatula to scrape and cut (press gently) with no visible damage to the mat. Like any silicone, it attracts lint, hair, etc., so I thoroughly clean my workspace of crumbs and fold it in half before rolling. Overall, this is one of my favorite Revain purchases and a great addition to my baking supplies!
