Not enough float for non-swimmers

Ugh. Why is it so hard to find a small kickboard with enough float for a non swimmer five year old? If that's what you're looking for too, keep moving. This one isn't it.Otherwise it looks cute, sturdy and well-made.

Pros

Seems to help my neighbor who is 6 learn to kick and hopefully swim soon.

Cons

The buoy’s narrow shape may not be as effective for younger children who require more stability
