These are just decent shoes, nothing valuable. This pair was meant to replace my Converses as they don't seem to be in the shoe store anymore. I liked these shoes so much I wore them for too long. The wide Sketcher version fits my foot well and the sizing seems accurate. Although they are not very comfortable. I thought they would be very similar to my sketcher trainers which are to die for as they are memory foam sketchers - like walking on clouds. It's nothing like that. There's the thinnest layer of foam, which actually doesn't make much sense. It has to be three times thicker with some kind of arch support to make these great shoes. It's hard to believe they saved about $1 on materials instead of making really comfortable shoes. There is plenty of room in the shoe, which is rare for my 11ft Fred Flintstone. The shoes appear to be well constructed but I think they are very stiff due to the outsole/tread. That's okay, but they're also deceptively heavy. Like cement shoes. It was really weird to wear them at first and still a little bit. I really think I will look for other shoes next time. {Edit after 6 months} I hate these shoes. They feel like lead shoes. Walking barefoot on gravel is more comfortable. I tripped trying to walk fast because they are so stiff and inflexible.
