Review on 🌡️ Qooltek Mini Hygrometer Thermometer: LCD Display for Temperature and Humidity Measurement in Incubators, Reptile Habitats, and Humidors (In Fahrenheit) by Brandi Patel

I purchased this hygrometer/thermometer for use in a hooded gecko aviary, so my rating is based on its performance in these conditions. It's a good item but I'm not sure I would buy it again. Pros: - Small and thin - Large numbers are easy to read Cons: - If ANY water comes into contact with the hygrometer, the reading jumps to 99% even after it dries. This is not practical if you have an aviary that requires regular spraying. Even when I tried not to spray it directly, my readings were still wrong. - No option to attach to a terrarium or bin (This item is not advertised for this purpose so be aware) - Battery life. The battery lasted about 6 weeks and needs to be replaced. I can't confirm how accurate it is as I don't have an additional device to check the readings. To my knowledge the temperature was close and none of the readings seemed outrageous. Those using this item for a different purpose may have a different experience. It was good for me to experiment but I probably won't buy again.
