The fake mirror was in good condition and the heater worked

I entered my truck information into the system and was told it was is a match. Apparently this was not the case. The fake mirror was in perfect condition and the heater worked.

Pros

Wiring harness needs to be disconnected from existing baseplate and connected to new baseplate prior to installation
