When I'm working in low light and trying to line up a piece of spacer or piping, this thing has saved me more than once. The magnets are incredibly strong. On flat surfaces, the spirit level needs to be tilted sideways to break the magnetic attraction and lift it up! So in other words, don't worry about it falling off when you hit what you're working on. I would give it 5 stars but it lacks the 30 degree and 15 degree corner bubbles for pipe bending. It's a little heavy for all day/everyday. I keep my tool box next to most jobs so it's not too much of a hassle. So far it makes a pretty solid impression. It has fallen straight onto the concrete floor twice and shows no damage, barely a scratch. Tip: Be sure to keep the item in your tool box/bag to avoid accidentally turning it on and carry batteries.
