Review on Attwood Pound Navy Anchor: Reliable and Heavy-Duty Marine Anchoring Solution by Muleme Anderson

Arrived mostly broken out of shipping box! The tape from the post office says a damaged open box was received. I know this is a heavy anchor, but the PVC cover was scraped off several places on the anchor from being safely thrown onto concrete during transport. I bought a coated anchor so it would be nice to have a nice well maintained boat as a gift. Only here you go with a shabby brand new anchor. I know some people might think that the anchor will break in the sea. Not where it is used by my lake which is completely covered with sand. So I didn't think it was worth the £25 postage to go back and try again. You cannot put an anchor loose in a large box and DO NOT expect it to break during handling during transit. If it was well packaged it would be nice to change if it wasn't damaged. The perfect coated anchor I was looking for! 5 star anchor, no star shipping.
