Just what I needed: Boating

I have a 16ft tracker targa with a 90hp motor that needs heavier anchors than me. Worry no more with these 20 pound anchors, they will keep the boat in place even in 20 mph winds.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

DO NOT BUY from Boating & Sailing

On the first day of operation (anchoring a 16-foot inflatable boat!) the wave broke off. Terrible quality and unsafe, my boat was badly damaged being blown from the anchorage to the reefs. A day later (September 25, 2019 10:00 PM) Revain still doesn't show my review (FYI all purchases on Amazon be careful).

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Pretty cool for such a compact anchor.

Nice and compact, that's a plus. Probably great for mud and silt. Easy to remove due to its design. Fits nicely in our pontoon boat under the seat which is why we bought it. The standard Danforth is too long and wide at 22 pounds and really annoying and awkward to leave on the boat deck. The downside is that it doesn't hold up in the sand as well as the Danforth's thin rear end. Therefore 4 stars. Also, we use it in salt water with sandy bottom. Rust is already visible on the shiny aluminum…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

Damaged delivery. in Anchors

Arrived mostly broken out of shipping box! The tape from the post office says a damaged open box was received. I know this is a heavy anchor, but the PVC cover was scraped off several places on the anchor from being safely thrown onto concrete during transport. I bought a coated anchor so it would be nice to have a nice well maintained boat as a gift. Only here you go with a shabby brand new anchor. I know some people might think that the anchor will break in the sea. Not where it is used by my

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
