Review on 10-Inch Tin Plated Steel Fox Run Curved Fish Mold by Sasha Hsiao

I bought this pan to make snapper fishcakes for my dad's 60th birthday party. The pan was easy to work with and the cake popped out immediately once you greased the pan enough. I decided to freeze them and use fondant and they turned out amazing. I have included photos of the cakes naked and decorated so you can see what they look like. I also found a photo from my test run showing the pan making a single 8 inch circle and fish. I made the regular yellow cake recipe and the regular chocolate cake recipe (both can usually make an 8 inch 2 layer cupcake). The batter was enough for a fish and half a cake. There were yellow and chocolate fishcakes, and then I combined the rest of the batter to make half a flatbread that was about 1 inch. up to make water. So plan on saving some batter to bake or make a pan for the fish. Can't remember how full I filled the pan, but probably 1/2-3/4 full. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make bass or fish with a similar cake. The possibilities are endless. or make a pan for the fish.
