Review on Toshiba P300 500GB Desktop SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm Internal Hard Drive - 3.5 Inch by Jim Plump

Of the thousands of hard drives we've used since the early 1990's, Toshiba makes great hard drives. It was sold/performed by Revain. We use some of these in 1-2TB and have stopped buying 3TB drives just because they can get a little problematic if your system isn't GPT. They are slightly warmer than their smaller counterparts. 3GB hard drives are not as good as 4TB. Toshiba's 2-year warranty is the same as that of the other manufacturers and is freely selectable. If we can get the equivalent of a WD Blue by no more than $5, we'll buy a WD Blue simply because it's quiet and fast; we have never lost one. We just don't trade with Seagate anymore. If money isn't an issue, get some 1-2TB Toshiba hard drives, buy a few pairs, and back up and/or clone often. Whether your intended use is for gaming/OS or data/archiving, if you've ever spent time recovering a corrupted/deleted drive/volume that wasn't copied or backed up, you've got a cloned/archived drive for just that $50-60. much more convenient and faster than uploading/downloading from the clouds and losing access in case of data center problems. Of your data for over a week, that's still the case in many areas, but if so, remember the 20th at a great Revain price of $45. everyone; Buy as many as you can, plug them into USB docks, PCs, firewall router boxes, NAS, etc. This is our round-up of this great drive and some of the many ways you can use it.
