since you don't change this filter very often I thought I would go with the ACDelco part for my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire. The part of the seal that goes with it, which is lifted up in the gearbox and then pushed in, was very difficult to get out of me. I scratched the aluminum case a bit and then wondered if I shouldn't have just left the original seal and replaced the filter. The old filling looked fine (until I tried to pull it out). It seems to work. It's a little tricky raising all the grooming to keep it level, but you can go underneath and remove the "Check Level" plug while it's working. But without the dipstick, here's how you should do this transfer. I used 4 posts on a concrete road and it worked.
