Review on Winter Ready: Unisex Hiking Boots With Non-Slip Sole, Water Resistance, & Soft Lining by Richard Ahmar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stiff and uncomfortable

Update: I wore these on my hiking trip because I didn’t have time to go out and get anything else, so I wanted to update my review. I still stand by what I said about these being very stiff, and the ankle support is a t a really bad height. It basically presses directly onto the ankle which is not comfortable at all. It should be either above or below the ankle. I will say though that these boots stayed dry through 8 hours straight of standing out/ day hiking in the rain. They also kept my feet warm and aside from the ankle support issue which oddly seemed worse in the left shoe, they were pretty comfortable during the hike.I suspect that some of these reviews have been paid for. These boots are not very comfortable they are extremely stiff. Also the sizing is pretty annoying. I normally wear a 7.5 so I ordered a size 7& a size 8 thinking I will return the size that doesn’t fit. Well the 7 is a little tight and the 8 is too big. The ankle support is pretty uncomfortable because it’s at an awkward height on the ankles and it’s very stiff. I’d say get a different paid of boots if you’re going to be walking a lot.
