Review on πŸ”₯ Enhanced JEYI M.2 NVME SSD to PCIE Adapter Card with Heatsink: PCIe4.0 X4 Updated by Jason Dahlkemper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as advertised

Works in your motherboard's PCI-Ex16 slot, which allows a graphics card to be plugged in. It doesn't fit in the small PCI-E slot. Since most motherboards have 2 PCI-Ex16 slots, this doesn't matter unless you're running 2 graphics cards in a SLI or Crossfire configuration. It was easy to just plug in and install the NVME SSD and it even comes with a small screwdriver needed to mount the drive. The only odd thing is that gold is mentioned on the PCB to help with drive temperatures, but how do you install a heatsink and also put a thermal pad in between? The included heatsink and thermal pad for it work fine and two thermal pads are included. I'm just not sure if they expect you to attach the pad to the silicone strips that hold the heatsink in place or not as it doesn't come with instructions. You should also note that the small "NVME" lettering on the side panel is illuminated in green and the bracket on the side of the case is made of plastic.
