Works in your motherboard's PCI-Ex16 slot, which allows a graphics card to be plugged in. It doesn't fit in the small PCI-E slot. Since most motherboards have 2 PCI-Ex16 slots, this doesn't matter unless you're running 2 graphics cards in a SLI or Crossfire configuration.
